DEAL OF THE CENTURY TURNS TO POTENTIAL BONUS GIVE UP

The Times is reporting that bankers involved in the Barclay's so-called deal of the century may give up their bonuses.  Barclays is feeling pressure from shareholders to claw back any funds paid pack on the so called elephant deal which resulted in a £72 million fine against the firm.  Short fallings reported by the newspaper include failing to check out the source of client's wealth, encouraging secrecy and failing to have a single point of responsibility.
