Senior person's getting more attention in the City

Back on February 11th, I blogged about Senior Persons rules coming to UK banks, and perhaps other financial industries too.  This morning there are several articles on this rule in the FT, including concerns about impact to bank NED recruiting.  Andrew Bailey, who knows his ways around the City and prudential regulation, has suggested that as not all bank NEDs are equal, some boardroom seats such as Chairman, SID and committee roles should be subject to senior persons regime.  Check out Mr Bailey's article at http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/a2b4363c-b85b-11e4-b6a5-00144feab7de.html#axzz3SY56j7Ca.
