Growing Regulations - A Major Factor for Bank Corporate Governance

A useful link by the Economist demonstrating the growing degree of regulatory oversight introduced each year for the US banking sytem... it is amazing to consider this consequence to the credit crisis and the potential impact to staff morale, compliance and risk governance.

Increasing complexity levels also makes one wonder about Board Directors who must strive to be expert monitors of business operations but must also now be sensitive to the growing web of complex global regulatory policies too.
