Innovative idea for the future - the pricing in of corporate governance by institutional investors

Speaking of the future of corporate governance - well done to Dina Medland for the article Talking to Investors About Pricing In Corporate Governance Risks found in Forbes this month.  Increasingly, large institutional investors believe that well governed companies out perform poorly governed counterparts over the cycle by a material amount.  This may be future best practice as institutional investors come to consider governance frameworks and practice as they make capital allocation decisions.

As more institutional investors think about this hypothesis, it may become ingrained in investment due diligence templates over time.  Check out Dina's piece at http://www.forbes.com/sites/dinamedland/2014/10/22/talking-to-investors-about-pricing-in-corporate-governance-risks/.
