STILL OKAY TO CHILL?

The TBTF bank debate continued last week following calls by Minneapolis Fed Chief Kashkari at a Brookings Institution conference called for large banks to be broken up as in his opinion the TBTF agenda has failed to properly regulate the banks. His recommendations are specifically for banks to split into less interconnected and systemic entities, Admati-levels of capital cushions, and applying dis-incentives across the financial systems for the use of financial leverage.
